Hello! My name is Kayla :) I would describe myself as patient, upbeat, energetic, and nurturing. I have babysat children ages 1-15 years old, as well as tutoring younger ages and high school algebra, world and US history, and language arts. In 7th grade I completed a program at my school where I was a teachers aid for kindergarten and first grade teachers. Ever since I've been passionate about supporting children with their academic and cognitive development. Your child/children's safety and well-being will always be my top priority. I ensure that all children I care for feel heard and understood allowing them the safe-space to be themselves and voice their needs and concerns. I recognize the importance of routines and schedules, and I love planning engaging play and learning activities to further help their development.
