Hello! I am currently looking for a part-time to full-time nanny position. I have previously worked as a nanny for two years, with two different families. I worked primarily with newborn to 4yrs as a nanny. I’ve also worked for multiple children families so that is something I am also comfortable with! Before being a nanny, I worked full time as a Montessori preschool assistant teacher for ages 3-5. Hi. My name is Robin and I'm a 57 year old mom of 2. My daughters are 40 and 12. My 12 year old is an honor roll student and has been in the gifted program since beginning elementary school. She will be graduating to Junior high this month and I will have more availability after 5/22. I've been raising children since I was one myself, at age 17 I became a mother. I think when you have to be responsible and independent at such a young age, it makes you a stronger more resilient and compassionate person. I love all children, and have cared for children with special needs since I was 12. I was responsible for caring for my adopted sister who had cerebral palsy and it was my responsibility to get her up every morning, transfer her from the bed to wheelchair and assist her with dressing, grooming and her leg braces. So I have close to 47 year's caring for children. I've been a stay at home mom for the better part of 10 years, although I have done some occasional jobs caregiving and babysitting over the years. I am a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (2009- present ) and have CPR/BLS/AED and first aid training and certification. I love animals and have several cats and a dog , and used to run a pet sitting business in Tampa. I am very familiar with different special needs children, ie , Autism, Asperger's, ADHD, sensory issues, Dravets Syndrome, CP, MD., and congenital brain damage. My nephew was born with his front temporal lobe missing. Caring for someone with this delicate condition is similar to caring for someone with Alzheimer's. I've learned to have a lot of patience and compassion and how to redirect when the situation calls for it. I can care for multiple children of any age, with any special needs. Children, senior's, pets, domestic and farm animals- everyone, everything except for a man child. Got one of those myself at home, and that's where I'd like to leave him when I'm out caring for others. 😉. Im sure some of you moms know exactly what Im referring too. I absolutely love kids and have lots of experience with them. I was a nanny for a family friend for about 4-5 years. I was responsible for 3 kids ages ranging from 8-12 years old. I provided transportation to extracurricular activities, help with homework, food prep, household chores, and entertainment. I also babysat a 3 year-old for a little over a year. I helped with both daytime and nighttime training, meals, entertainment, learning activities, transportation to and from daycare, treatment while sick, and misc. things like packing lunches, cleaning up bedroom, and doing laundry.

Hi, Until recently I was working as a teacher at a daycare/preschool for 19 yrs. Am looking now just to do some part time care. I enjoy spending time with kids, infants are my favorite age but I do well with all preschool ages. The hours I'd like to work are 8 am to 12 pm or 6pm to 10.pm. This is so I can work around my grandkids schedules for when they need me.
