Hi there, my name is Angelica Z. I am a very enthusiastic, patient, reliable and nurturing person! Whether that be for young children ages 2 & up, elderly folk, or even pets. I have gained 2 years of experience while babysitting a toddler on and off from when she was 1 to 3 years of age. I was a Recreational Aid for the residents/patients, which means I would decorate/host programs, transport them to/from their rooms, help a handful of them perform tasks for an activity (arts & crafts) like movement with arms/hands, describe colors/materials, aim towards the completion of the activity. To conclude with my background of caring, I would like to add that I have gained expertise with the tending of dogs big/small, husky/thin, young/old and of all types of breeds. The lengthiest time span of boarding a dog into my house was for 4 consecutive months, which occurred around the Spring season of 2015. The most recent act of me watching over dogs has been while being a dog walker, where I serviced 200 different dogs in a matter of 2 months, throughout all of Manhattan. I've had the greatest pleasure of being able to fulfill each opportunity that respectively had their individual hardships & responsibilities, that I was capable & suitable of complying with and I would not take it back for the world!

I love all children, and have cared for children with special needs since I was 12. I was responsible for caring for my adopted sister who was born with cerebral palsy, so I guess you could say that I have close to 47 year's caring for children. I've been a stay at home mom for the better part of 10 years, although I have done some occasional jobs caregiving and babysitting over the years. I am a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (2009- present ) and have CPR/BLS/AED and first aid training and certification. I am very familiar with different special needs children, ie , Autism, Asperger's, ADHD, sensory issues, Dravets Syndrome, CP, MD., and congenital brain damage. My nephew was born with his front temporal lobe missing. Caring for someone with this delicate condition is similar to caring for someone with Alzheimer's. I've learned to have a lot of patience and compassion and how to redirect when the situation calls for it. I absolutely love kids and have lots of experience with them. I was a nanny for a family friend for about 4-5 years. I was responsible for 3 kids ages ranging from 8-12 years old. I provided transportation to extracurricular activities, help with homework, food prep, household chores, and entertainment. I also babysat a 3 year-old for a little over a year.
