Although I have not had professional childcare training, I have worked with children for around 4 years. I have babysat children from the ages of 2 to 9, and spend three summers taking care of 3 to 4-year-olds as part of a summer outreach program intended for working parents. This involved things such as helping with homework, development, outside activities, and school development. Babysitting included more at home activities such as watching TV, reading books, preparing them food, and helping with homework, also.
