I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 2. No paid experience though. My son and his family just moved away a month ago. I am feeling very empty nested. I miss taking care of the kids. I made their meals, helped with homework. Took them to the park. Ride bike did arts and crafts and experiments. They keeped me busy and now I'm looking to fill in the gap. I'm 56 still healthy and full of energy. I was the cool mom if you ask my kids friends. Now with the grandkids gone I really want to try to be the cool "sitter".
