I have worked as a professional nanny for over 20 years. I love what I do. I find happiness in a child's laugh, enjoyment and satisfaction from helping a child achieve a goal, and contentment from giving a parent peace of mind when they need to place their child in someone else' care. I believe that the nanny and parent need to work as a cohesive team in order for the household to run smoothly. They should be on the same page when it comes to the children and freely communicate with each other when there is a problem. I do not believe in physical punishment, but I do believe in a disciplined household. Many times when someone else would throw up their hands in frustration, I would see that we needed a creative solution to the problem. I have been called a miracle worker a few times, and I Read more have had other families try to seduce me away. This tells me that I am doing something right. Resume available with references.
