Hello, My name is Amanda M. My passion is children; they make life so much fun and so interesting. I enjoy watching after and taking care of children. Reading to them and watching them learn new things. I love playing games with them and playing outside. I have worked with special needs kids before, which led me to my career path to working with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Children inspire me. I've worked with children for 10 years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am good with infants and older children; I have worked with kids from 4 months old to 13 years old. As I said I am good with special needs kids also. I have worked at my church's daycare for a little while. I have experience with Autism, Down syndrome, recently cranial nerve damage and more. I have a bit of Read more medical experience and am CPR and basic first aid trained. I have dealt with G-tubes and people in wheelchairs. I also have experience with children and teenagers with certain 'behaviors' that require special attention. I love watching infants and younger children, I enjoy watching them learn and figure things out. But I have experience with children up to the age of 17. My theory is I am good with children because I still have my inner child with me and love to have fun. I have taken care of 4 kids at one time so I am experienced with multiple children. My schedule is very flexible and I am available whenever I'm needed. A bit about me: I am very artistic; I love painting, drawing, coloring, and anything that involve creativity.
