I worked for the YMCA in after school childcare, helped the children in my group which consisted of 12 children. Helped with homework, snacks and outdoor activities. During the summer worked at the YMCA daycare camp we would do breakfast lunch and sometimes dinner, went on filed trips helped with reading. Made sure the kids were always safe and well taken care of I was CPR and first aid certified. I also watched my 3 nieces from 8am till 6pm ages 8months. 2 and 4 years old, helped potty train 2 year old. Provided food, activities, reading and bath time. Enjoyed it very much but moved on to college for pharmacy then became a pharmacy technician. But I had a kid of my own that needed me home as well a husband who was battling cancer so I took a step back and fouced only on them. But now my Read more husband is cancer free and my son is 2 I'm ready to get back into the child care industry. I have an open schedule. I can do anything from helping with homework, dropping and picking up from school, breakfast lunch and dinner, bath time and bed time. Laundry and tidding up the home. Or anything else that may need to be taken care of. My son is also nearing 3 years old he is special needs, he has some hearing loss which leads to speech delay and some behavioral issues but I'm currently working on him, everyday is a progress and everyday he gets better. My son is my world and offered a position I would have to bring him with me because I'm his only care taker till my husband gets off work at 6pm. I can do some weekends but not every weekend. I can also babysit if you would like date nights.
