Hello potential families! My name is Maccayla. I am a 27 year old mom of one. My son is five years old. I have been nannying and babysitting since I was fifteen. I started with babysitting family members, like my little sisters and nephews and then slowly expanded to neighbors, community members, church members. I am familiar and comfortable with all ages of children and all types of parenting. I understand the fear when looking for a caretaker with a brand new baby - it's truly terrifying! I understand the frustration of trying to help your gradeschool student with "new math", because that's not the way we learned to do it. I like to clean, cook, help with homework/projects, laundry/folding, and help with family pets. I enjoy being outdoors and playing at the park or in the yard, going on walks, nature trails, fun outings like nature trails or the Read more Beach. I am a very hands-on teacher, you will not find me on my phone kicked back on the couch while you are away. ** I am absolutely comfortable with nanny cams and being that I am comfortable with them, I do NOT ask that you disclose them to me if I am babysitting in your home. I am not going to do anything that I would need to hide from the parents or children, therefore, there is no need to disclose their location. ** I am CPR certified and have reliable transportation.
