I am the mother of a 15 year old son. I have been in childcare, babysitting, young adult care for the past 30 years, with an emphasis on cognitive development and working with functional communication in special education. I taught Profound Intellectually Disabled, AS Autism Spectrum, Orhopedically impaired,Physically Impaired, and Learning disabilities for 23+ years. I currently do not have a driver's license; however, this does keep me from arriving on time (Ridshare such as Uber, Lyft). I do not limit myself to only working /caring for those with Intellectual Disabilities, as I see each individual child as his/her own "special needs". I am routine based with flexibility to meet the needs of the child and situation. I love to cook and don't mind cleaning.
