I am currently a rising sophomore at Georgetown University. I have 5 younger cousins, which I have had to babysit since I was about 8 years old. I babysit my neighbors' children whenever they are busy with work and go out to dinner, so I have no problem looking over kids for long periods of time. Raised in a Peruvian household, I am native in both Spanish and English, and fluent in French as a second language as well as proficient in Portuguese. I am a dedicated student both inside and outside the classroom, which I owe to the encouragement I received as a kid to embrace my love for knowledge and utilize it to its best potential. I have tutored both high and low-income students for around 4 years now. Since freshman year, I have assisted in after-school help for underprivileged children in both elementary and high school, and Read more I am extremely passionate about inspiring children to find the same passion and ease in learning as I did when I was young. I have looked over children from daycare to adolescence in a local charity school in Lima that is constantly understaffed, as a babysitter for the young kids and later on a mentor. I love reading and listening to music, and I love playing sports - mainly tennis and volleyball. I adore cooking and pay strict attention to details, so if you have any special requests or requirements for your child's care I can assure you I will do my job diligently.
