I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them feel safe, heard, and valued. Kids need consistency, patience, and someone who pays attention to them, not just supervises them. I like being that steady presence. Watching children learn something new, laugh, or gain confidence is rewarding. It is not just about “babysitting” to me. It is about building trust with both the child and the family. I work in education and currently serve as a Title I paraprofessional in a sixth grade academy. I support students academically and socially every day.
