Meet Danielle

Hello, I am a 38 year old mom to a 17 year old and a 12 year old. I also have been working in childcare since I was a teenager, I have worked as a camp counselor, a babysitter, nanny and in a few daycares as well. Aside from raising my own children I have many years of experience working with kids from infant up to school age. I am very hands on, I like to keep children engaged and learning I encourage independent play as well as one on one play. With younger age children I like to encourage their language development as well as their awareness to their surroundings. I love being able to watch children grow and learn and be able to express themselves, I do this in many ways one being daily repetition. Daily repetition for me is repeating words to the child and back to Read more the child so that they learn the word and the learn what is connected to the word. I like to speak to the child when we are doing things, ask them questions like “do you want to go in your stroller”. They eventually learn the word stroller, they learn what a stroller is and they can connect that it means going outside.
