Hi parents! I'm Alexa, a local nanny and babysitter near the Gateway and Buckingham areas in Fort Myers. I’m currently looking to add a few more families to my regular childcare schedule starting in early fall. In the meantime, I am available for evening and weekend care. I offer part-time, flexible, consistent, and occasional services—perfect for families with irregular schedules who still need reliable support. I have been around kids my whole life—my mom ran a daycare from our family home. Since then, I’ve worked as a nanny, sitter, teaching assistant, substitute teacher, and mother’s helper. I also spent over three years as a preschool teacher through my high school’s teaching academy and am currently in college studying Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. I am CPR/AED certified, have completed over 40 hours of DCF training, and am currently working toward my CDA. While I don’t yet have extensive newborn experience, I’m eager to grow in that area and plan to become a certified newborn care specialist. I strive to incorporate active play and developmental activities into each child’s daily routine, blending fun, learning, and structure in an engaging and supportive way. My goal is to create an environment where children feel safe to explore, grow, and express themselves, all while maintaining consistency and comfort throughout their day.
