My name is Lynn Sposito and I live in Longwood, Florida. Good afternoon, My name is Lynn Sposito- I'd like to share a bit about myself- I’ve lived in Central Florida for the last 22 years and I'm originally from New York. I’m the mother of 2 adult children. They both have graduated college and live on their own. Once my kids were on their own, I was looking for something that would continue my nurturing instincts of being a Mom and caregiver. Sitter City connected me with a family that was just the perfect fit! For the past 5 years, I have been a part time nanny for a lovely, active and smart young lady in the Orlando area. I assisted a single Dad with getting his daughter ready for kindergarten, helping with colors, shapes, sight words, etc . As she got older, I assisted picking her up from Read more school, helping her with homework, providing snacks and getting her to her after school activities. I loved helping her with daily living tasks, incorporating learning without even realizing it! We would count, read, exercise, learn to tie shoes and make awesome cards for her Dad. As she got older, we would read recipes and bake, following the instructions, measuring, counting, telling time, etc. It was so rewarding to watch her little mind grow before my eyes! I would occasionally help out with the nighttime routine or showering and reading before bed. Now that she has turned 10, I’ve pretty much outgrown my position and they no longer need my help. I am also a professional artist and currently teach ‘paint and sip’ classes to adults as well as children. If accepted for the position of nanny for your child, I would be leaving that teaching job. I thoroughly enjoy arts and crafts and can come up with many creative projects for your little one that will be educational as well as fun!
