I have been an occasional sitter for a family with three beautiful children, ages 8, 10, and 13, over the course of about 5 months now. Prior to servicing this family I babysat a 7 year old boy and a 2 yr. old baby girl. During my visits I tend to stay occupied and am comfortable with preparing meals, cleaning, organizing, etc. I prefer to bond with the children rather than relying on technology in order to provide them with natural sources of entertainment. I strictly follow the directions and rules established by the parents to provide them with peace of mind and I prefer to do so in a more amiable manner to preserve the child’s trust in the process. I avoid raising my voice or projecting anger because I believe it creates a hostile environment so I generally try to reason with the child in terms they understand Read more according to their age and communication preferences. My love for children drives my purpose to understand the needs of the parents as well as the child’s to provide the bet possible service. While I’m caring for your child, gaining and preserving your trust is high on my list of priorities only topped by your child’s well-being and happiness. I’m a major nature lover and pretty big on arts and crafts so if occasional glitter or birdhouse kits make you uncomfortable...this might not work out, it’s not you; it’s me.
