I have worked with children in quite a few different situations. I worked in my church's children's ministry for 6 years as a helping hand and eventually a class leader. While in high school I was in a Careers in Early Education program in a vocational school which offered me quite a few different areas to work with children. Most of the experiences I had with that class was in a preschool setting with children between the ages of 3 and 5. I was fortunate enough to get to work in three different preschools; those being, a program called HEADstart a free, state run preschool, Price Elementary Preschool for children who are developmentally delayed, and finally the Anthis Career Center Preschool which was at the vocational school I attended. I have also done some babysitting in the past for members of my church while they held small groups or went Read more out for the evening. Most recently I was a care giver for a young boy who has Cerebral Palsy.
