In high school I took a child development class where I would teach preschoolers and learn about there development. every week I would come up with a learning plan for the students. I would teach math, science, reading, gym and musical arts. The class helped me learn how to deal with kids at that age and how to teach them in ways they can better understand. I also learned a lot about child care growing up. I was the oldest of all the kids in my family so I would always babysit cousins and brothers, even till this day. I am currently a college student, majoring in nursing . I have taken development classes that taught me physical and mental growth throughout a humans life. My class was mainly focused on the early years of life. I do know CPR for infant, child and adult. I am CPR/First aid certified!
