Meet Karol

Being someone in child care is very important and special to me. I find taking care of younger kids to be a fun pass-time. For the last 4 years I have worked on and off with kids usually in big groups. Beginning when I was 15 when I started working at a gymnastics academy as a summer camp coach, apart from training the kids from ages of 3-14 I would also be sure that they were completing homework, eating their meals and snacks, turn them into their parents safely and help them meet their social needs. Since then I fell in love with working with kids just as my mom did in her early 20's. I have been surrounded by day-cares as my mom used to own one and my aunt still does, but only until my own personal experience I did not come to love it as much as Read more I do today. In the summer I now travel to Jacksonville with other friends to be a counselor for younger kids while they are away from here. In this summer camp kids are taught survival skills, the importance of family, how to build long lasting relationships, how to establish routines, keep healthy diets and more. My summer camp kids are treasures to me that I stay in contact with year round as they look up to me and also see me as friend. All in all working with kids is something that makes my own inner child extremely happy so I wish to forever be involved in it.
