Hello! My name is Kayla. I am a young elementary school teacher who loves spending time with children. I am originally from Ohio, lived in North Carolina for 5 years, and now live in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida. My experience with childcare began my sophomore year of high school where I became a babysitter, turning into a summer nanny. My very first nephew lived with my family for the first two years of his life. With that, I gained ample experience care taking for infants. I have grown up babysitting my nieces and nephews, ranging in ages 0-6. I really enjoy seeing children in both an educational and non-educational setting. I really enjoy life and being goofy is one of my favorite things to do with children. I like to play, use creative play, use our imaginations, be active, read, and have fun with children. I think every child has such great potential and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know every child as individuals and have their needs met. I really enjoy seeing how children's minds work and think there is so much we can learn from them! Some of my activities and hobbies are arts and crafts, exercise, and travel! I thoroughly enjoy learning especially since it's all based on the student and child. I have learned a lot about kids through schooling, but am always learning something new and exciting through experiences with children.
