I’m a master’s educated speech-language pathologist with a 13-year professional career working as a speech therapist with children (and adults). I worked 30+ hours/week as a babysitter/nanny from the age of 16 through college and beyond, and while in my first year of undergraduate studies, my brother with multiple disabilities was born. I lived at home for the first several years of his life and continued to participate in his care giving as he grew into adulthood. I am currently living a long way from my family home of Pennsylvania, having relocated to Miami for cultural exposure and a general change in life! I continue to work as a speech therapist, but my passion is my art and I miss caregiving, as this has long been an integral part of my upbringing and lifestyle.
