I am an aspiring pediatric nurse, currently working on my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at Florida International University. I have been a babysitter since I was 11 years old, for both my neighbors, family friends and my family. I was one of six children growing up! I have taken care of children of all ages, ranging from 2 months to 12 years old. Because of my youngest sister, I also have experience with special needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder and Down Syndrome, as well as complicated medical needs. I have always loved working with children and it has been my desire since a young age to go into pediatric nursing! I will be starting the two year nursing school program at FIU this fall, as I just finished up my prerequisite courses and successfully earned my Associate of Arts degree. I am in the process of earning my AHA Read more Basic Life Support certification, which includes CPR Certification. Currently, I work as a Resident Assistant on campus at FIU.
