Hello potential nanny families. My name is Emerson Ellington, I am 21 years old born and raised in Minnesota. I am passionate about working with children and creating a fun, supportive environment where they can thrive. Over the course of two summers, I worked as a full-time nanny for two active boys in Minnesota. I was responsible for driving them to sports activities, organizing fun outings, and ensuring they had a positive, engaging experience while under my care. I worked from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and it was a rewarding experience that taught me how to balance structure with creativity. With a background as a Division I women’s soccer player at Western Illinois, I’m skilled at fostering teamwork and creating routines that are both fun and educational. After earning my degree in 3.5 years with my bachelor’s degree in psychology has also equipped me with a Read more strong understanding of child development, allowing me to connect with kids on a deeper level and meet their emotional and physical needs. Currently, I’m pursuing my master’s in Health Administration and Public Health at Barry University while balancing my student-athlete responsibilities playing soccer. I am taking online courses and have early morning practices so I’m looking for a part-time nanny position to help support my education. I am eager to provide a safe, engaging environment for children while earning the income I need to continue my studies. Whether it’s helping with schoolwork, planning physical activities, or just offering a fun and safe space, I’m excited to make a positive impact in a family’s life while continuing my education.
