I am a medical doctor from Cuba with extensive experience working with children in hospital and clinical settings, and I completed the first year of my residency in pediatric orthopedics and traumatology before relocating to the United States. For more than a year, I have been working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing individualized support to children with autism and other developmental conditions across schools, after‑school programs, and home environments. My background in medicine and behavioral therapy allows me to approach each child with a deep understanding of their developmental, emotional, and physical needs, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, communication, and structured routines. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I also drive and safely transport my autistic clients to their daily activities, therapies, and appointments, ensuring consistency, reliability, and a calm, supportive environment during transitions. My primary mission is to support each child’s development while creating a positive, trusting, and collaborative relationship with parents. I am currently studying at the University of California to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), continuously expanding my professional knowledge to better serve children with special needs and provide families with high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
