I have been in the Caregiving field since August of 2013, taking take care of elderly people and providing them with services such as companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and other odd jobs. It is a very rewarding job and I enjoy taking care of these people. Sometimes, clients with physical or mental disabilities are prevented from leaving their home and the only people they may see for days are their caregivers. It really feels good to be the clients companion. I have 5 younger siblings. Yes 5! Two sisters and three brothers, ranging in ages from 5 to 17. I am no novice when it comes to taking care of children, and have become pretty good at heading off the constant chaos that surrounds my large, hectic family. I am from Florida, moving up to Vermont in July of 2013 (yes right before that unnaturally freezing winter, but hey Read more despite my southern blood I did survive!). I am currently a freshman in college, I go to CCV right out of Winooski, and I am planning on majoring in Microbiology. I really enjoy reading, I have quite an extensive personal library. I enjoy all genres (except perhaps western), but my favorite genre is historical fiction. I also love to travel, I have been to Austria, Italy and France, and I love to spend time outdoors doing various activities such as kayaking, hiking etc.
