Hi there! First off, thank you for having an interest in me! I grew up in Florida, went to the University of Pittsburgh for my undergraduate degree where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies with minors in Dance and Studio Arts, and I now attend Pennsylvania State University to eventually earn my Master of Architecture. I graduate in the spring of 2022. I have danced since I was three years old, including competitively dancing in junior high and high school. I am a very organized individual and work well in environments where you must think on the fly. Plus, I love cleaning and making sure everything has its own place. I have always loved children and think they are the joys of the world, as I have a niece and a nephew whom I adore and have taken care of occasionally since they were born. I sometimes Read more babysat in high school, too. My nephew is on the spectrum, though, so I have a little bit of experience with children who are mildly special needs. In my family, we have a few people in the medical field so I know a lot about first aid. Many who know me say that I am always prepared no matter what the situation. My mom was even a CPR instructor, so I know CPR, although I am not certified. As far as my experience with childcare goes, I taught dance at my hometown studio during high school to a wide range of children for 4+ years where we would offer a creative, kind, fun, and passionate atmosphere. Sometimes my dance studio would even host parents' night outs, so I have a lot of experience with working to imaginatively occupy a lot of children at once while still making each one feel special, aside from instructional work. In addition to being a children's dance instructor, I worked at Jumperz, an indoor children's bounce house arena, in high school. My number one priority was keeping children safe as they had fun. Not only did I supervise children in the bounce house arena during this job, but I was also a party hostess for children who chose to have their birthday parties at Jumperz. We took care of everything from the start of decorating to the cleanup. I look forward to possibly working with you!
