I'm a stay at home mom and have been busy with my own kids since 1994. I've reared my oldest four children to adulthood and still have two at home. The house has always been full with children and I've enjoyed my time with my crew. I'm not phased by children being children, but can offer gentle guidance when they go a bit too far and need to get back on track. Kids make me smile in the funny things they do and say. My babysitting experience, outside of my teen years in a past century, has been keeping friends children for them, which always felt like I just added in a few extra to my own. I've been doing that since my first one was born, but now would like to expand into some paid babysitting jobs. I homeschool my youngest as I did the four oldest ones, and Read more should be able to handle helping with homework. (maybe not if they have to do that new weird math) ;) I prefer to watch children in my home during the day if it's for an extended time, but for later evening hours certainly understand the benefits of children being in their own homes. I am fairly flexible with availability. I can pick children up if needed. I am CPR certified.
