I was born and raised in Lake County, Florida and currently reside in Mount Dora, FL. I'm currently a PK-3 certified teacher in Lake County. I graduated from UCF in 2011 with a degree in Psychology and decided to embark on my career starting out as a teacher immediately. I not only am a teacher at an ordinary school, but I work at a school for children with emotional/behavioral disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, PTSD, etc. Therefore, I am able to work with children of all backgrounds. It is very true that every child is unique in their own way. Being a teacher, I have learned how to work with each child as well as their differences from each other that makes each of them unique. I decided to join this website as a babysitter/nanny because I thought it would be nice to have a part time job/hobby where I Read more can also put my skills to use. To me, being around children and improving their way of life/educating them isn't a chore or job, it is a hobby. I am CPR certified as well as have a completely clean background. I am extremely aware that each parent has their own way of disciplining their child as well as their own rules/regulations they expect their child to abide by. I am very open to different parenting styles and would be willing to work with each family making sure that the rules are enforced in their home even when the parents are not present. I have had a lot of experience over the years babysitting as well as with kids in general. My jobs have consisted of working with children my entire life. All through middle school and high school I babysat for children in my neighborhood, as well as worked in a daycare in college, followed by currently teaching.
