Hello! I am Vanessa and I graduated from the University of South Florida last Spring 2023 with a major in Health Sciences. My plan is to become a Physician Assistant and specialize in pediatrics. Ever since I can remember, I have always found joy and fulfillment in spending time with kids, nurturing their creativity, and witnessing their unique perspectives on the world. I believe that every child is special and deserves attentive, compassionate, and engaging care. Working with children allows me to be part of their growth and development, helping to shape their confidence and skills in a positive way. Whether it's through imaginative play, educational activities, or simply providing a listening ear, I find great happiness in contributing to their well-being and happiness. I used to be a children's counselor at the Sports Club of Naples for 2 years when I was in high school. Then, I became another Read more children’s counselor at Extreme Youth Sports in Tampa when I was in college. I also tutored children on subjects like math and Spanish while in college. To get experience for graduate school, I got my medical assistant certification, along with CPR/AED/First-Aid and BLS certification. These certifications allowed me to work as a Medical Assistant for the past 2 years. What sets me apart as a babysitter is my personalized approach to childcare. I take the time to understand each child's individual needs, preferences, and interests. My goal is to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn and play. I am patient, reliable, and adaptable, capable of handling various situations with calmness and care. Moreover, my background in not only the medical field, but children’s education allows me to incorporate educational and developmental activities into our time together.
