My husband and I moved to Grovetown recently and I'm looking to take on a little one. We moved here from Florida where I got my certification to be a paralegal and than decided that kids are my passion. I put a lot of time/classes in to become qualified to open my own in home daycare. (Not even a week later, my husband got orders) My playroom is mainly geared towards ages 6 weeks to 12 months. I have a crib, changing table, tummy time playmats, baby swings, bouncers, sit me ups, age appropriate toys/books, and so much more! You are responsible for supplying bottles, formula, diapers, wipes, an extra outfit or any specialty items such as diaper cream, medication, ect. I treat each child like they are my own. I am mainly looking to care for one infant at the moment which means constant one on one time, snuggles, Read more and more! I also spend the day practicing/helping meet age appropriate milestones, reading books, playing with toys especially the interactive ones. I think it's extremely important during these stages of life that they are having their brain stimulated instead of just plopping them in a swing and just doing the basics. If the weather is nice, we go on a walk, go to the park, ect. We make cute keepsakes during all holidays/random times. I also keep a daily log for parents at end of day. It consists of feedings, diaper changes, naps, ect. I'm located in Grovetown in the Ashbrooke Subdivision. I have 4 hypoallergenic dogs under 10lbs. They are all very sweet and good with kids. I have references as well.
