Aspiring to one day own my own child care center, I am currently in the process of earning my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in two child care centers-- Kinderoo Children's Academy and Future Stars Academy-- as a lead teacher and substitute teacher for ages one-through-five. From changing diapers to settling children for naps, I have done it all. The philosophy I hold on early childhood education is children learn through social interactions, playing, and first-hand experiences. I incorporate this as a child care provider through crafts, open communication, games, reading, baking, and much more. In addition to holding experience in early childhood years, I have tutored students in VPK, 4th grade, and throughout the high school years in math and reading.
