Hello There! My name is Ronique and I am excited to be applying to this position as a part-time babysitter. I am well equipped to take on this role and I would love to share with you a little about my early childhood experience. I began studying early childhood education for four years during my time in high school and earned my Child Development Associate certification in 2016. I have always had an affinity for working with children and have found myself drawn to positions where I can help expand their knowledge and growth. In my time as a teacher, I have worked with children of all ages from birth up until elementary school age. I have created developmentally appropriate lesson plans and found creative ways to accommodate the learning needs of each child. During my time as a Registered Behavioral Technician, I conducted ABA therapy with children and adolescents Read more on the Autism Spectrum. Later, while working as a Group Facilitator I conducted Psychosocial Rehabilitation for youth ages 5 to 9 years old. I have been exposed to the youth of different backgrounds and behaviors and have worked closely with therapists and other professionals to successfully help the children to develop/enhance their psychosocial skills to improve their social behavior. I have successfully completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology back in December of 2020 and am currently enrolled in a Masters Program for Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University.
