Hi y'all! My name's Amiee and I just moved down to Orlando from Kansas City in August. I joined Sittercity to hopefully find an awesome family to help out! I have been in the childcare field for the past 4-5 years of my life, and really have a genuine passion for children and not only caring for them, but teaching them new things as well. It it always fun to see a child explore or learn something brand new for the first time. I have worked at licensed daycares as well as working as a full-time babysitter, and I love both. Being a full-time babysitter definitely has its perks though, since you are more able to have a one-on-one relationship with a child and really get to know them. Their imaginations are endless and it's so fun to see what kind of games or ideas they come up with. I love to sing, dance, play my piano, draw, paint, write, swim, and hang out with friends when I have free time. I am currently looking for a full-time position with a family, and hope I get the opportunity to help someone out! I am available all day, every day, seven days a week and am also to start immediately if need be. I have a car as well, so transportation to anywhere wouldn't be a problem. I live in a clean, organized apartment, so if you don't mind your little ones hanging out at my place, then I wouldn't mind watching them in my home. Otherwise, I have no problem watching kids in your home, either. Whichever is easier! As for rate of pay, I ask for either $315/week, depending on a number of things. If weekly pay doesn't work, then I normally ask for $9/hour during the day. I am flexible when it comes to prices though, so if you'd like to negotiate, please feel free to. That's about it!
