In High School, I completed four years of course study in Early Childhood Education, completing and earning all relevant certifications. I had several years of on-the-job training at Plantation High School’s Early Learning Center. While there, I helped encourage a supportive environment in which children can begin to learn and practice appropriate and acceptable behaviors as individuals and as a group. I Read more also provided physical and emotional security for each child and maintained a safe environment. Additionally, I interned at various local preschools as an assistant teacher in classrooms of 15-20 children, typically students that were four to five years old. From a more personal experience, I have one sister who is two years old and another sister who is seven months old. I have and continue to be regularly babysitting children from infant to toddler age, including preparing and feeding of bottles, managing sleep schedules, changing diapers, play times and bath times.
