I am a current full-time UCF college student who moved to Orlando from Miami. My previous jobs in childcare include working as a substitute teacher at Plymouth Congregational Church Preschool, and for babysitting for about 4 or 5 different families a few times every month. For one family, I would drive their three kids to their volleyball practices softball practice, take them to the movies, make sure they ate they dinner, bathe them, and prepare them for bed. For others, I was expected to make sure the kids ate and play with them until it was time to go to sleep. I am a very trustworthy individual and will be more than happy to give references for my childcare background. I took two years of childcare classes in high school which resulted in a DCF certificate; I also took extra DCF tests in order to qualify to work at the Read more preschool.
