I have gained 5+ years of childcare and babysitting experience working with the daycare at my local church and for parents I have 5+ years of childcare experience that I have gained working in a church daycare center and volunteer work at New Hope For Kids. While there, I met parents who hired me as a private sitter. Eventually I extended my experience through references at the church and through coworkers in need of a babysitter. I have worked with ages ranging from infants to 15 year olds. I also have 2+ years of senior citizen care, primarily those with Alzheimer's and dementia. I originally became CPR certified through the Florida Hospital, but I have been certified 3 times since then in order to maintain certification. I have completed several courses in sensitivity training for both children and seniors.
