Hi! My name is Kate Busbee and I am from Orlando, FL but am currently a student and play division one soccer at Western Kentucky University. I am in my second year at WKU and am in the honors college majoring in Political Science and International Affairs and am working on my masters in Public Administration at the same time. I have a 3.95 GPA and have great time management and organizational skills. I am one of four kids and have been surrounded by young cousins and a big family my whole life. In high school, I worked one-on-one with children with disabilities and helped integrate an inclusive classroom program that had high school aged kids with down syndrome attend classes with the rest of the high school. I am patient, kind, loving, and respectful and love to spend time with kids. I am available starting May 28th through August 1st and I have a reliable car. I have been babysitting pretty much all ages (from 8 months old to 13) since I was in 7th grade and have spent previous summers babysitting. I also have previously worked camps during the summer and throughout the year where I am supervising groups of 8-10 elementary ages kids and designing tasks for them. I am a super active person who loves to be outdoors and do activities that are engaging and know Nashville has a variety of things to do during the day to get the kids out of the house. I also am handy around the house and want to help out in any way I can including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and everything in between.
