I absolutely love being a childcare provider, or sitter. It’s such a rewarding job to be able to take part in the development of these tiny humans. From the time I step through the door, I’m in my element. The joy of loving, playing, listening, and teaching all age groups is an amazing part of life that I wouldn’t trade for anything. In my experience, I’ve been able to work with families of all backgrounds and cultures and I hold those beautiful memories close to my heart. Not only do I love being around children, but I have a personality that just works well with kids. I think it’s due to the fact that I am patient, explicit, and consistent. I don’t think of childcare as just looking after a kid. I look for a connection with the child that will help make the time more enjoyable for both of Read more us. I like to keep things predictable but I also love to get creative with activities and entertainment. My goal is always to make sure the family is comfortable and happy. I love being a babysitter not only because of the children but because of the families I provied care for. I enjoy learning about each unique family, and their traditions, so I can apply that when working with their child. Working with children is my passion and I am so grateful to be able to be a part of such an amazing journey.
