Hi, my name is Heather Purcell and I graduated from Florida State University with my Masters in Social Work in May 2015. I am currently employed as a therapist working with children and their families (ages 2-9). My undergraduate experience consists of San Diego State University with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Child and Family Development.  I am looking for occasional babysitting and/or help that anyone may need! I have babysat in the past and have a lot of experience working with children! I dedicated the entire year of 2012 to solely working with children, mainly on an internship basis.  I spent time in Alaska working on a U.S. Military base at a Child Development Center with infant's from six weeks old's to preschooler's at the age of five.  My main experience comes from working with infants and toddler's but I enjoy all ages!  I then spent three Read more months as a summer camp counselor at Pretty Lake Vacation Camp in Michigan, the only cost free summer camp in the country.  My two co-counselor's and I were in charge of 19 third grade girls for five days at a time, so I do have a lot of experience with this age group as well!  I then spent four months in Germany on a U.S. Military base there also working at a Child Development Center, primarily with infants again.  Since then, I have worked at two separate child development centers, assisting children from infants to pre-K. I have extensive knowledge of assisting children with special needs from my current job. I believe I am well qualified to assist you in any way possible and very passionate about helping children in any capacity I can! I also love dogs :)
