My experience with babysitting stretches over 12 years. I worked 6 consecutive years as a nanny for a family whose children I cared for from the newborn stages to ages 6, 3, and 1. I cherish the bond I created with this family and their beautiful kiddos, but I left this position due to relocation. The children I cared for were always very busy, so I have developed attentiveness and patience for tiny humans. I enjoy babysitting and have recently moved, so I am looking for jobs here and there for extra cash flow. I work M-F until 4 PM, so I am unavailable for long-term positions. I can work weekday evenings and be available on weekends with advance notice.

I’m Sydney! I’m 23 years old and the youngest of 2 but have a huge family. I’ve been babysitting my youngest cousins since they were born, I’ve loved watching them grow over the years, and seeing how their little personality’s developed. At age 12 my first job was at a bowling alley watching children in Pensacola. In my mid-20's I married a childhood friend who I convenience to enlisted into the Navy. We moved to Virginia where I volunteered in a place that was a holding place for children whose parents or guardians didn't want them or couldn't take care of them. Most of the children were sad. I worked hard to figure out how I could put a smile on their faces. I'm no longer married but I have 2 wonderful sons from the marriage. When my sons were young, we moved back to Pensacola. I took a lot of child development classes from PJC. I've worked in several childcare businesses and Retail businesses. When my sons became adults and lived on their own, I started caring for one Military family's young children at a time in my home or their home. All of these families got transferred but they still send me pictures of their children. My fee is $15 per hour, and I only accept cash that is paid on the same day that I work for you. I'll take your child outside to play with their toys or play games inside on raining days. If I'm watching your infant, I will talk, sing and use age-appropriate toy to entertain them. While your older child is playing, I'll ask them to touch a color, count the toys etc. Bathroom time and washing hands often are important. If they are happily playing inside and I see laundry that needs to be folded or the floor that needs to be swept you may see me doing it. So, if you are still interested let me know.
