I do not have experience being a nanny however growing up I babysat my incredible little sister who has Down Syndrome. Often times my single mother worked from long hours and I was the one my mother trusted to take care of her. She has low functioning DS and it was challenging at times but it taught me compassion and patience. This experience I believe is very unique and gives insight into the person I am today.
