My career, up until I retired, was in account management of a large market research firm. I have 6 grandchildren, one grandson is autistic and was diagnosed when he was 3 years old. I have watched him grow and change over the years; he is 13 now. I don't have specific training with autism but read everything I can on the subject. I am a caring, active senior and was caregiver for my mother who died at 92 with severe dementia. My husband passed away 7 years ago of malignant melanoma and I live alone and can be very flexible on availability. All of my grandchildren, except one, live out of the state now. I love the outdoors and think children should be outside more that they are knowing how they are all hooked into technology, even autistic children. I have no certifications, just a lot of common sense, patience and love. I would be more than happy to meet with any family for an interview.
