I have seven years of hands-on babysitting and nannying experience and have had the privilege of working with several wonderful families, caring for children ranging from newborns to teenagers. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how children grow, learn, and thrive at each developmental stage. From supporting first-time parents during the newborn phase to helping school-aged children with routines, homework, and emotional regulation, I bring patience, adaptability, and genuine care into every role I take on. As the oldest of six siblings, childcare has been part of my life from a very young age. In addition to private nannying, I worked for two years as an assistant teacher at a school for children with autism. I supported kindergarten classrooms and collaborated with educators and families to create a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment. I also worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), assisting with individualized behavior Read more plans and supporting children in developing communication, social, and life skills. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt my caregiving approach to each child’s unique personality and needs while emphasizing patience, positive reinforcement, and routine-building. I am Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certified, ensuring I can provide safe and prepared care in everyday and emergency situations. I am also currently enrolled in a Newborn Care Specialist certification course to further expand my knowledge in infant care, sleep safety, feeding support, and early development. Child safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I have hands on experience assisting families with gentle sleep training, potty training, and baby-led weaning. I enjoy helping children reach developmental milestones while respecting each family’s parenting style and values. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents through open communication and reliable support. Beyond childcare, I am happy to assist with meal preparation, errands, pet care, and school pick-ups or drop-offs. My parents own an Italian bakery, and I grew up cooking and baking alongside them, so I am very comfortable preparing nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for children. I take pride in creating a nurturing, structured, and fun environment where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.
