I've been working in the direct support field for 5 years, and I'm currently employed by Hillsborough County Public Schools as a unique needs aide. Most of my care-experience is with adults and children diagnosed with cognitive/developmental disabilities and delays. In fact, one of my previous clients suffered from bi-lateral deafness, so I'm even familiar with a little bit of Sign-language.
