I decided to become a caregiver when I was asking myself what exactly it is that I genuinely enjoy doing, and that's when I had came to the final conclusion that I love being a caregiver. Growing up, I had been the middle child of my siblings and even though I had an older sister she didn't have any cooking skills, nor cleaning. I learned a lot of my cooking, baking, sewing, and cleaning skills from my grandmother. Given my major in college being in psychology, I feel as if it is easier for me to differentiate between the correct way to handle conflicts, seeing eye-to-eye with children, and ultimately grip a better understanding of how the mind of a child works. I started taking care of my own siblings when I was in the third grade at the age of 9, my parents often were at work and we Read more did not have a babysitter. I feel like as a person, I am very easy-going, intelligent, and respectful. My ultimate goal in life is to become a certified child psychiatrist. I am seeking this as an opportunity for me to experience some one-on-one time with children and gain more than just book knowledge on how children think, act, and behave. I am available all throughout the week, mornings until late evening.
