Hi there! My name is Mykhala, and I am very outgoing and caring individual with such a soft spot for children!! I've spent over 12 years working in VPK, Headstart, and daycare programs. I am very patient, and love nurturing and caring for young children. I am certified in infant and child CPR and first aid, and I also have my CDA. I also have experience with children who have autism, and other special needs. To ensure I am the most effective educator I can be, it is my responsibility to be familiar with Developmentally Appropriate Practices for the age group I’m working with, keeping up with my education and training, and learning from my own students to be more than a great educator, but an evolving one. My students teach me how to be adaptable, and inclusive, being that no child is the same, but they all deserve the same care. As an educator, I continue to learn everyday.
