Hello there! My name is Jackie and I am thrilled to be working with your family. I have my Masters Degree in teaching ages birth to 6th grade for general and special education. I graduated from Dowling College in New York. I have been working with children as a nanny, in preschool and in school district settings for about 17 years now. I love helping children to discover their talents, and to learn about what fascinates them. I also love story time, creative play and activities that let the children express themselves. I have worked with many students with disabilities from the ages of two through eight. I have experience using the PECS system, basic sign language and also communication devices. My favorite things about children are their imaginations and unconditional love for all. Though they are little, one tiny human can teach you more than you know.
