I am a retired nurse and have raised two children of my own and provided daycare to my granddaughter in 2019 during her 1st year. I love encouraging development through play and interaction. I spent my time with my granddaughter by playing, listening to music (she loved Louis Armstrong's gravely voice and trumpet), taking stroller rides, and of course eating and napping. I homeschooled my two children, one with special needs, and thus have personal experience with helping a child meet developmental milestones through play therapy. I am comfortable with pets in the household and my own family had dogs, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, a turtle and a bird.
