Hi, I'm Allegra. I'm 22 and a recent college graduate! I live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and have a lot of availability at the moment as I am fresh out of college! I am into the arts and am very creative and love to paint, draw, write and play. I like to keep the kids I care for engaged, active, and imaginative! I am highly dependable, attentive, and responsible. Some of my work experience includes: Full-time caretaker for 3 years of an elementary aged boy (from when he was 7 until he was 10 yrs old). I picked him up from school 4-5 days a week, took him to all of his activities, helped him with homework/tutored him, kept him engaged and played with him, oversaw play-dates, and formed a life-long relationship with his family. I have also babysat an elementary school aged girl in my neighborhood for many years and Read more have a great reference with their family as well. As for volunteer work, I have worked in elementary and middle schools - sometimes also working with children with special needs. I also took part in an amazing volunteer opportunity oversees in Costa Rica teaching English as a foreign language to elementary aged students in a public school.
