From 2007-2009 I participated in a high school program that allowed me to create lesson plans and teach at the preschool on campus under the supervision of an instructor. From 2009-2014 I taught the 3-5-year-olds at my home church. From 2011-2013 I tutored a high school student once or twice a week and assisted with passing a math class she was retaking as well as followed her through her next year for assistance. I decided to go back to school and am currently a nursing student. I am looking to further my career as a registered nurse in pediatric oncology. I enjoy being around kids and feel that my experience since high school has helped guide me to understand how children think and how to get along well with them.
