I’m the fun babysitter! I am a friendly, kind, responsible adult with a big heart who loves playing with kids, making crafts, and facilitating make believe! Originally from Chicago, I moved to New York in 2012 to attend The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. I graduated in 2015 and remained in the Big Apple until May of 2021 when I moved to Sarasota with my husband. I am a fairly successful actress who does a lot of commercial work; but when that industry is slow or on strike I also love to work as a freelance princess performer (Elsa and Ariel are my faves) and a professional mermaid. During the pandemic I did a lot of Zoom princess parties, and made some “bake along with Ariel” videos that are on Youtube called The Mermaid Baking Academy. Please feel free to check it out! I joined SitterCity in the spring Read more of 2014 and met my first family. Their daughter was 11 and I picked her up from school/camp, made dinner, and helped with homework. When she went to middle school in the fall I met a new family whose kids (two boys and a girl ages 9, 6, and 4, respectively) I watched after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the entire school year of 2014-2015. I would take the boys to their karate class, then make dinner, help with homework, and play board games until one of their parents got home. Around that time I met another family who I did occasional date night sitting for for many years. In 2015 those kids (a boy and girl) were 1 and 3. Five years later they were 6, 8, had a baby brother, and needed me less. I stuck to occasional nighttime babysitting after that and met several lovely families with sweet, adorable 2-4 years old daughters. When I’m the babysitter, I always like to bring something fun and special with me. Maybe your kids and I can play with face paint, learn to twist balloon animals, color and play with stickers, read my special book one chapter at a time, or have a princess sing along karaoke dance party before bed! My parents had four kids in four years so, understandably, we always had a nanny/mothers helper around to take us to the pool, play hide and seek, make rice crispy treats, and help with dishes and laundry. They were actually all sisters and I loved Miss Anna, Miss Rachel, and Miss Sarah so so much. I am inspired by their example and strive to be an exceptional caretaker who gives kids the same experience that I had growing up. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
